It is a Slazenger sporter converted in Aussie from surplus rifles in the 1950's. They are uncommon nowadays and that is a fairly tidy example. The .303 variation is probably more common in NZ than Aussie because of the restriction on military calibres over there. They were also available in .22 Hornet (with a different magazine), .303/22(also known as the .22 Sprinter) .303/25, and .303/270. I would think something in the $250-350 range for its collectability.
