I've been asked to price (with a view to sell) a couple of rifles. One of which is a BSA factory converted 303 target/range rifle.
It's unusual in that it has a one piece rear handguard with no cut out for the back sight. It also has a BSA marked heavy target barrel
(not the more commonly seen Lithgow H barrel) with one of the best bores I've seen on a .303
It has matching numbers on bolt receiver and nose cap, and retains its full wordwork. Overall in very tidy condition for a near 100 year old rifle.
Does anyone here know much about these rifles and care to hazard a guess as to its value?
