Thread: 308 AR magazine help?

Just had a play with one sitting on the shelf of my local. Jammed 5 rounds into the mag and the projie end seemed to sit up quite high while the primer end stayed low in the mag, it looked a bit bizzare sort of like it would stovepipe if used that way. Anyway, squeezing the feed lips together seemed to settle the rounds back down into the mag. Give that a try with your fingers and if it works try putting the lips in a vice and closing them up a bit. Spring tension seemed fine and there was nothing else untoward about the mag.
