If it's a long range rig that you won't be climbing mountains with, Spuhr are hard to beat. If it's a lightweight hunting rifle for climbing the Southern Alps, maybe keep looking!

Whatever you can afford, not as many cheap options for 34mm rings.

I've previously used the Contessa 34mm rings and had no issues.
Think I may even have a spare set someone if you wanted to buy somethign used.

I’m not to really concerned on the price, I just want the rings as low as possible.

The seekins rings are some of the lowest to fit a picatinny rail. But the lowest of the lowest would probably be the leupold dual dovetail with their respective base provided your rifle is a reasonably common model ( Remington, howa, Winchester, etc…).

My favorite rings are the Nightforce Ultra Lite ones.

Both NF ultralite and Hawkins tactical rings come in a .885" height.
Vortex PMR/Seekins rings (they are the same) come in a .92" height.

The Element Optics rings are very good and great value for money.

I usually use Nightforce Ultralights but have a pair of the Elements on a rifle and really rate them.

I'm running mdt, Element and burris signiture xtr rings in 34mm.
No issues with any of them. All are medium height as well.

I buy from Spuhr directly. There is no import permit for the scope rings and the shipping is reasonable.

I gave both contessa and Leupold. The contessas are on a rail whereas the Leupold are on weaver bases and lower.
