It would be a neat fun accessory. Wonder if the rifle would remain an Acat with an underslung? certainly makes a pistol grip or bayo lug pretty lame in the scheme of things.

Well it's not an E cat feature!

But a launcher under 762mm is probably legally a pistol if you use beehive rounds in it rather than actual flares.

If it were attached as an underslung then it would be deemed as long as the parent rifle yes? as long as it can't be fired when unattached.

Cant be any more alarming to joe public than all the airsoft shit that gets around.

Still think the point of having one is lost without the TTHHOONK of a 40mm going out. Makes me want to reenlist,,,,,, nearly.
Had a neat cannon as a lad, ran it on Rost Off, fired an empty stubby clean through a car door easy. Then we modded it to run oxy/acetylene and it started to get a bit crazy, like 600m crazy. Gave it up before it failed and took our arms/hands. May build another me thinks, now with a bit more skill in the engineering department.

I put built two cloned lpg "spud" guns that would fire a frozen orange well over 600 yards. Had to be frozen or it would disintegrate on leaving the barrel

the last spud gun I used nearly took my fingers off, I was very glad to see them and promptly counted them straight away.
    Lesson learnt for me.
PVC is for water not chambers of home made spudguns

The army engineers used to entertain themselves by firing golf balls straight up in the car park. As a kid i recall loading one with a passion fruit and blowing a skateboard in half with it. Much safer to stick with cheap hairspray if all you have is pvc. Then again i did see somebody come a cropper with pvc spuddy - his shirt was ripped open and he had frags in his side. Douche-bag didn't wait for the glue to set.

this sort of device would be bloody ideal for rarking up those rafts of paranoid bloody canadas &ferals who persistently sit 100-200m offshore at lake ellesmere.a few supersonic cans at wave level should put the shits up em and bring on the flying urge.now what choke do you have on said piece of weaponry.??????
used to make a water mortar for my kids when they were younger..get an old bike tube -snip out the valve.grab a cork or bung to fit a plastic bottle.half fill bottle with water and bung cork in (valve housing needs guts removed.)prop her up and plug the valve into a handpump or as i do the compressor.she';ll be rip shit&bust at launch ,you get wet as a shag and more than one visitor has been suprised by bottles thumping into the sunshade overhead.Ive actually had one round diappear over the house roof ,resulting in some very suprised pedestrians in the street!!(did same with clay trap too but thats another story!!)

yep well aware of that squire and ive been chasing the bastards round ellesmere for nigh on 6yrs now.Ive just got a very devious and lively imaginations as anyone who knows me will testify.Id suspect a can travelling at high speed hitting water would probably disintegrateas according to my research they are intended to contain shit not be an aerodynamic missile.
except in selected pubs of course ,but they also made beer jugs into acceptable missiles!
