    410 shotty

Anyone suppressed a 410? Never shot one, Figure it should be good on possums/rabbits etc. Which brands are suppress-able? if any? Not sure how much meat are on the barrels.

Seen one built by gun works Canterbury . I brought one unsupressed cheep as chips for my daughter . Don't no what the supressed one was ,but would be perfect for life style block or (poaching (joking) . Kahn brand seem solid as , Single shot under $300 .

I saw one done professionaly a while back, not sure who by but they called it an "orchard gun". I used to have a 410/45colt NEF that would've had plenty of meat to thread but was shit useless with shot.

Yep might be a bad idea all round, not sure how suppressors handle wads going thru them

Have a hushpower .410 and its a neat little gun. Find about 25m is about the limit of its effective range with 6's on rabbit size game.

Not on me, it's sitting in my cabinet in the UK.
This is pretty much the same gun though.

I was looking into this for possums. You can pick up a new one for $250 (not suppressed). I wonder do you have to load your own rounds to get them subsonic?

It's cost more to put a can on it than the cost of the rifle.

There was a fully suppressed .410 on the shelf in Gunworks on Thursday when I was in last.

I was told a Lee Enfield is easily converted to .410... Not sure how easily suppressed but sure they can do it.

My .410 Hushpowers barrel is ported with holes, top and bottom, from about half way down...this will be what keeps the shot subsonic so it remains quiet...even with normal supersonic loads.

I think hushpower UK guys also make a removable suppressor for all shotguns - that's what I was talking about. I originally wanted it for close range possums also. hushpower.co.uk
