Thread: 45/70 Marlin 1895SBL

Hi, just got my bush .308 sorted and ready to sight in so now I’m planning on my next rifle.

Just putting money aside at the moment but want to know peoples thoughts on the 45/70 Marlin 1895SBL in Stainless laminate. Anyone got one on here?

Pros and cons? I’ll use it as a bush rifle as well, thinking 1-4ish Leupold Scope, strong rings and not too much else.

Really like the look of it and assume the 45/70 round is a bit of a sledgehammer? Bit of a dinosaur problem around here (a la Jurassic Park!)
