Out to 400yds speed rules, 400+ BC rules

Turns out to all be very interesting.
So made a call to run with the 6.5 06 and some new dies arrived a couple of days ago. I was surprised how little gets trimmed off the .270 cases to form 6.5 06, and obviously the die reforms the neck to 6.5mm rather than .270in.
Which reminds me, better bump all that .270 gear I'm flicking on.
Now just have to find some load data using 143gr ELD X and 2209 or 2213.............any ideas??

how long is your barrel 2213 might be to slow, you can use 25/06 or 270 brass

22 Inch barrel and with a compact suppressor it effectively gives me 24 inchs
Anyone got any starting load weights??

Just out of interest, my 2013 copy says exactly the same.

2217 loads there too...much fuller case

you should get away with 2213sc, but compare the load density and muzzle velocity 2209 might be more economical. 2208 start around 41.5 - 42gr 2213sc start around 44gr.

should of said 2209 not 2208. the shorter the barrel the faster the powder.
