So made a call to run with the 6.5 06 and some new dies arrived a couple of days ago. I was surprised how little gets trimmed off the .270 cases to form 6.5 06, and obviously the die reforms the neck to 6.5mm rather than .270in.
Which reminds me, better bump all that .270 gear I'm flicking on.
Now just have to find some load data using 143gr ELD X and 2209 or 2213.............any ideas??
how long is your barrel 2213 might be to slow, you can use 25/06 or 270 brass

you should get away with 2213sc, but compare the load density and muzzle velocity 2209 might be more economical. 2208 start around 41.5 - 42gr 2213sc start around 44gr.Name: Scan_20200927 (3).jpg
