+ 1I ordered a rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor a while ago but it was going to take too long so put in on the back burner, so obviously I do find the round appealing. The biggest advantage over the 260 is being able to seat the bullffets to better suit the throat in some rifles with short mags. Don't think the there is much difference beyond that in the real world.
BUT if I was going for a real long range I wouldn't choose it for anything but paper punching. You want something with a bit more guts, say a 6.5-06 or one of the 7mm rounds.
As for a fast second shot, well it's going to dependwhat was wrong with the first one - did you misjudge the wind, bullet drop, did you put enough adjustment on the scope. a fast second shot isnt going to help any of those probs.
Not knock the rifle your looking at, just the fast second shot thing only crosses my mind when culling goats. rabbits etc, at ranges where adjusments aren't necessary.
