About LinkBacksIts not so much the max length as it is the angles that are created with the shorter action, the lack of taper on the ackley case and the steeper shoulders... I have great feeding in the finnlight with a long action originally set up for the 6.5x55SE.. not sure that you wouldn't have to do some mods on the SA Rem to get it working....
Still working up loads for the 6.5x47 but Outdoor Lad has 2800-2900 for the 123G Amax out of a 19" barrel with RE15... I have a short barrel on mine as well.
