Thread: 6.5 saum

I did a 270-rem mag once in a Ruger no 1 action.

I was smashing the 270 weatherby velocity by 200fps with 130's

I built my first 6.5 Saum over 4 years ago, so they certainly aren't new

My current personal one is a 6.5 Saum Imp using Remington 7 Saum brass.

It's nearly exactly in the middle between a 6.5 Saum & 6.5 Wsm as far as case capacity.

I still have my original 6.5 Wsm, was my go to general purpose hunting rifle, but its "heavy" by todays standards

303 saum, there are so many old 303 barrels to recycle out there :-)
