I once loaded 100gr NBT's in my 260, had them going 3300 fps from the 20" model 7. Took them to Stewart Island for my first ever crack at whitetail.
I ended up shooting two whitetail yearlings with that load, holy shit did it sack them hard. Literally like they got struck down by a bolt of lightning.
So im sure the 6.5CM could achieve the same velocities. But it still seems somewhat of an overkill for the wobblys. I know how the 223 can perform on goats etc out at 300 odd yards, i cannot imagine a wallaby would be harder to dispatch than a goat.
