    6, 6.5 Creedmore & 308 Tikka.

Lately I have been exploring the possibilities of the 6mm & 6.5mm Creedmoor along with the bolt donor 308 T3 Tikka.

    Here is the 6 Creedmoor

DPT suppressor, Hardy 22" 1-8 barrel

Very nice Ken Henderson carbon stock

Pretty happy with the performance so far

Here is its bigger brother the 6.5 Creedmoor.

    DPT suppressor & Hardy 22" 1- 8.5 barrel.

    B & C stock, Talley 20 moa rail

It's starting to show promise in some windy conditions

Here is the 308 that lends it bolt to the Creedmoors

Robertson Composite stock, DPT suppressor, standard barrel, long bolt stop & magazine.

Shoots pretty well with the 178 Amaxes

It doesn't seem to mind the 208 Amaxes either

Impressive shooting. What work have you done to the actions? Or is it just a re-barrelling job?

Cheers, would that be around 42 ish grains?

Is the Creedmoor just an inherently more accurate case with less powder needed than the swede?

Don't tell me you are re-thinking your 6.5x55, you pretty much convinced me to sell my .260 for one.

I don't have my data with me but would be around that.

The Creedmoor is a really neat case, just a little smaller in volume that the 243, its like a shorter improved 243/260

I just ran the 6.5 Hornady brass through the 6mm Hornady dies I have, simple as

I assume it would lose a bit of velocity by cutting 2" off, hard to say how much ?

How do you rate Ken's carbon stocks compared to other NZ made items?

Yep pretty happy with it on the whole.

The alloy bedding is very nicely done, as mentioned I just dropped the barrelled action into the stock.

This one is 5 grams lighter than the factory one, but he tells me he built a much lighter one recently.
