Thread: .600 Nitro

I've shot 2 cattle beasts and a deer with the 416 remington.
350 barnes x points at a guess maybe 2200fps tops. They aren't an explosive bullet but drove well. Nothing spectacular damage wise.
Got some 340 woodleighs that easily do between 2500 and 2700fps.
Quite a bit stouter on the shoulder and generate 70 odd ftlbs recoil.
Haven't shot anything with those loads.
Even the expandy bullets aren't that expands so doubt a 600 would do anything other than drive that calibre hole In and out on a deer
