Any issues (stability, accuracy, terminal performance) with shooting standard 85-95gr bullets (I'm thinking Serria 85gr, 95gr SST, 95gr NBT etc) in a modern 1:8 twist 6mm barrel?

No issue with stability. 1:8's will stabilise 105-108gr boat tails. Shorter, lighter 85-95gr bullets will be fine.
Accuracy... This is the same as shooting 55gr from 1:8 twist 223's. 69/77gr is probably a little tighter shooting on average, but it's more down to the particular bullet. No issue as far as you're concerned.
Terminal performance... No issue.
Only issue I've ever had was 70gr blitzkings occasionally blowing up from a 1:8 when pushed to >3400.

I run 70-95gn projectiles in my 1:8 6x45 no problem.
Terminal performance... No issue.

Yes they are spectacular when they hit a 2 litre plastic bottle of water I took 3 shots to hit one with my 6mmBR, I had to clean all the fouling out before one would hold together
I use 75gr, 95gr and 105gr in my 1:8". All very accurate, especially the flat base 75gr.
Awesome team thanks. Not sure what my plans are yet, other than in the next year or so I want to swap my 308 out for a 243. A 1:8 would future proof in case I want to reload, but most likely would just use 95gr factory ammo.

If you're considering re-barreling, a 6CM might make more sense than .243
Yes indeed. It had crossed my mind as a potential option.

I've been using 100gr projectiles in 1:9.5 and even 1:10 barrels without issue, so 1:8 should be more than capable to handle 95gr.
re the 6CM, if you are not reloading I would dissagree with Gimp and say stay with the 243, better range of off the shelf ammo and the 1:8 allows you the option of relading the 105/108 gr glass projectiles if you want.
NB 243's are now starting to come from some manufactures standard with1:8 twist.
