I have a Tikka T3x .243win with a factory 1:8 twist barrel. It is left handed and two were bought into the country late last year. I am using the 108 ELD-M from the standard 22.4" barrel @2830fps (measured). It is definitely not a hot load.
So far reds and chamois have fallen to it at ranges between 120 and 377 yards. Nothing to complain about the bullet performance although none were huge animals.
With Chris Fisher carbon stock. 3kgs all up.
108 ELD-M loaded to 2.8" next to Nosler 90gn BT factory load.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
The lands are the limits, unless custom throated a tad longer.
I use the 6CM as my main thermal rifle
Built on a Kimber hunter 22" barrel with Hammer 69 AH at 3900 fps & change
Point & shoot right out to 350 yards, extremely effective with little to no recoil
Its a little light for decent size pigs but amazing efficient on deer
SRP Lapua brass is fantastic

Love my seekins 6cm.
108 at 3000f/s, not hot load at all.
Shot few deer, none took a step. DRT.
Another forum member got it now and sure he's happy.
Those @Fisherman stocks are nice eh?
Certainly are

So a preliminary report. I had my 6ARC barrel opened up to 6mm CM everything same except chamber. Got a couple of rounds through it at last light today. With the sam 103 gn ELDX Velocity had moved from 2880 (and a very hot load) to 3010 ( albeit max) with no pressure signs at all. The expense - an extra 10 gns of powder. Never as much as yer hope for but usefull none the less.
What barrel length @Tentman
22"
I have a 1:9" .243 so not a creedmore but firing the 105gr targex it takes deer out to 500 easy, longest have been a couple over 600 yards.
Plenty of stags have succumbed to them as well. They are doing 2880fps as my barrel is 18" so will go better in a longer barrel creedmore.
