Thread: 7mm mag to a 6.5prc?

I re chambered my 7-300wsm(serious hitter) to 6.5 prc and am happy, i wont go back to a bigger cal.the 147s going mid 2900s flatten deer as good as the 175 eldxs going 3000+.the impact shock from the eldms is amazing and the prc is such a damn accurate calibre it makes shooting easy.my mate shot his first deer at 400 with it the other night.at the end of the day when long distance animal shooting precision is more important than power.an 147 eldm into the shoulder at 800 yards is going to kill.

Awesome mate, interesting feedback. I keep hearing shoot to hunt podcast about little cals are better ect. With forum and backcountry podcast.
