Depends what you want to achieve, i use to have a 6.5 creedmoor it was super accurate, but after shooting about 15 deer and couple bull Tahr with it using factory eldx, they would just run too far before expiring, a lot to do with shot placement i get that but the initial shock was not there. Went back to a 708 for a couple years which was better. Now use a 300wsm and have no issue's, still run on some
Heart shots as is expected but nothing like the 6.5.
This may not be an issue to you where you hunt, but in some of the steep country down here it can be the difference between finding the animal or not. The PRC will be better than the creedmoor i get that, but not a lot better.
