Thread: 7mm vs 300 in Blaser.

Hey all, getting close to procuring a new barrel and would like some feedback on the above two calibre choices. I have a good idea of projectile choices for the 7mm and have also been considering the 300 Blaser Magnum as I have always liked the 30 caliber pills on animals and amax is obviously still an option for both choices along with the Bergers, Barnes etc. plenty to choose from.
Recoil is not an issue as I have a pussy cat barrel for the son to use later on and I'll get another can or a T2 for this thing.

I'll be shooting steel and animals and have no doubt both fit well, I have been told the 7BM is more popular but I haven't heard anything of them especially on here...the 300 there is some decent feedback especially with accuracy which is the main thing for me.

I was going to go 7Brenneke but there isn't quite the jump from my current caliber to warrant such an outlay.

If there are any out there who could chime in with some thoughts please do so.
