    I like it, whats next the 510 creedmore.
    Always wanted a 338 whisper or 338 spectre over the 300 whisper/blackout but the brass was easier to make at the time. After killing a lot of animals with the blackout I don’t see any point and ballistics on the 30cal are pretty good in my rifle out too 250m with subs, if I did need more penetration would go for a 45/70 or 500 s&w.

    IIRC he said it was a shortened 6.5 Creedmoor out to .338 so basically a .338-6.5 x 47 Lapua

    I wonder if it is not more like a 338 br aka 338 whisper,without paying the royalties to J.D. Jones. And since " creedmoor" is the " cartridge du jour" that sells, they went with that.
    it could be like for the 300 whisper/ 300 blackout. Because people did not want to pay royalties to ssk , they went with a slightly different case.

    Going by its performance it must be a little bigger than the BR

    My AR15 338 BRX (100 thou longer at the shoulder BR) pushes 160s at the same speed but the barrel is 20 not 12.5"
