Thread: Accidental new project.

So hard to find any of the old Tikka's now, I think people realise just how good they are and hold onto them. Looking forward to seeing how this one turns out. I'm not a 308 fan but would buy one in an older Tikka action, keep the pictures coming please.

Stole it from a gunshop, to them it was just an old shitter of a Tikka they were selling on behalf, (maybe they just wanted it out of their rack ) it owes me $750, was $895 on the rack- some will think that was too much, some will think I got it cheap, it will cost me very little to blue it, and the stock restoration won't cost much, because I will do the thing myself, would have liked it in .260 rather than .308 but .260 wasn't a thing back then. Love the steel mag, seems to be Tikka have allways done the single stack 3 shot thing.

Anybody got stock checkering tools they want to loan me? I think the paint is going to be painful in there!
