I can’t see why not who’s had it done? And recommend smiths? M77 ruger mk11 has a fixed 4 power luepy but I really want to use it irons

there are stupidly short ones that go on scope bases,you have basically pistol length sight radius.... any gunny worth weight in goat turd can do it...the cost to do so is another matter.

I’d like to try for a traditional long rifle set up iv acquired a 9.3x62 that shoots fantastically at 150mtrs so I see no need for a scope for the time being

front sight will be simple to dovetail into barrel if there is enough meat...or a ring set up like old 303 had...that may actaully be best donor...and an aperture that is set into scope base...like shown on the latest lever in by sell...would give you maximum sight raduis....skinner sight like shown in the bakail thread would work too.

I’ve seen all sorts of nice customs in Allen Carrs workshop, and a lot of them had nice open sights. He’d be the first place I’d look if it were me.
