tossing up weather to put an adjustable gas block on my ar if it shoots ok its got a suppressor on it I see there are 2 types one that restricts gas flow into the action and one which bleeds excess gas off which one is better

I'd go for one that restricts the gas rather than bleeds, I've got one that bleeds and it leaves a small mess near the gas block, pretty minor though really.
Restricted gas over venting gas any day for me. Venting gas = noise so it's hardly ideal if your running a can

OK cool anyone made one out of a standard block
Yep, tapped an m3 grub in, was even on a low profile block so had less meat to start with. With a tapered end on the grub i run it wound in tight with a bit of loctite. Have never had trouble with the hub screw coming loose but potentially it could when running it wound out
Pretty sure if you are thinking of the superlative arms bleed off gas block it can either act as a restrictor or bleed off depending on the setting...I have a couple still sitting in my spare parts kit that I haven't gotten around to trying yet.
