Thread: Advice on Model 7

Hi all,

I’m looking to buy a model 7 for my girlfriend. She really wants one with an old school wooden stock. Finding it hard to locate one.
308 ideally but smaller fine too

Is second hand the best option here? Is it possible to get a wooden stock fitted if I buy her a new gun with another stock?

I don’t know much about guns and this is a surprise for her. I don’t have a licence but have someone who can do the actual buying for me.
