    Aftermarket trigger

I'm looking for an aftermarket trigger for my Bergara 14. I have been thinking of the Timney HIT but also open to other suggestions. What are others using and what's junk?
I have looked at the Bix n Andy and trigger tech too.
Is an aftermarket trigger worth the money?

I've got two Bergara triggers here, one of the older style and one new. Also a Triggertech Diamond so a very sophisticated and pricy point of comparison.

The Bergaras are actually very, very good and stand any comparision until you want a pull of less than 2 lbs/ 900 grams. The let-off or feel on the Bergara triggers is I think superior to just about anything "factory"

Unless it's a purely range rifle I'd be ensuring my Bergara trigger is properly set up (gunsmith if you are not familar with them) , and is clean etc. and keep shooting!

I like a sub 2lb trigger pull and have a timmney in my bergara, can't fault it. I didn't like the factory trigger but that's my opinion.

I had an email from reloaders and got this response about Timney.

'Unfortunately the Timney agent does not have anything in stock.
They can order one for you but they do not have an ETA im afraid.

Timney have been extremely slow at supply since Covid sorry'
Not surprising but I guess that's my decision made, find another trigger.

I have a Bix n Andy tac sport pro in my Bergara HMR, it is truly a fantastic trigger super smooth. Out of the box it was set at 6 ounces but can be adjusted up to around 1kg. I have 3 Bix n Andy Dakota triggers in my Tikka's these would most likely be your best choice for a hunting rifle, out of the box they were set at 550 grams, super crisp release and very predictable, they can also be set to a higher pull weight, about 2 kg I think. I purchased from NZ Rfiles, Craig at Ozark precision also has these, he's on the forum.
