Thread: AG composite alpine hunter stock

Anyone got any info on these? Do you like them? Are they strong and well made? Would you recommend? I see rivers to ranges gets them in, thinking about getting one for my tikka 300wsm. But i live down south so cant get anywhere to have a feel of one and at close to 2 grand they are not cheap. Keen to hear Any other options in that more tactical hunter style that you recommend also. Wouldn't there Rangiora store have them? They look to me to be super strong with what seems a fiber reinforced fill which suggests they aren't seeking weight savings at the expense of strength.

They could get them in but they stock different stuff.

Also I've handled them stateside and AGs stuff seemed solid if a little heavy. I noticed i felt i was reaching for the trigger due to the distance from the grip. The springfield waypoint rifles have an ag composites stock if a local gun store has one in stock.

Alternatively look at the precision platforms XM35 in that realms of stock.
