    Aimpoint or TRS-25?

I'm after a red dot and after spending a bit of time reading up on them on what people have suggested on the forum I've got it down to the TRS-25 or an Aimpoint micro H-2. Just after some final opinions on the two and what you would get given the price difference? (convince me to invest in the aimpoint hahaha)

I own a number of both, both fine optics in there classes but the aipoint is much nicer if you can justafy the price diferance. Im slowly replacing every trs25 with aimpoints as they come up second hand so read into that what you will

I went the other way,had an aimpoint but sold it and replaced with trs25 and a leupold 1-4 scope with the funds, don't see a lot of difference between the trs and the aimpoint for the coin difference except battery life maybe,if my life depended on it I would go aimpoint but not for general hunting.

@Sideshow yeah I've read through a few of the posts and people are rating them. I've got the opportunity to have a play with one next weekend so after that I'll weigh it all up

Yeah I've seen from people comments on similar threads that the battery life is exceptional. Apparently the holosun is right up there as well now.

+1 for Holosun, simply they are worth worth their price. TRS is hella over priced unless importing and so is aimpoint

Have you considered Sig Sauer red-dots? They're exceptionally well made, glass is crisp and they have a unconditional, transferable no receipt needed lifetime warranty.

Oh, and they can run for 50,000 hours on one single battery which puts them in the same league as Aimpoint.

I bought a Sig Romeo 5 off Amazon.
USD$142 plus you may get a youshop type courier to carry it.
