    Air pistol: recommendations?

    Hey guys

I'm looking for an air pistol so that I can discretely dispatch some annoying Indian Mynahs and other avian pests that are fouling the steps and entrance to my place. It must be 4.5mm (.177) not 6mm BB. I'm looking at an Umarex Beretta 92FS but if anyone has some other recommendations I'd be interested to read them.

No. Far more enjoyment to be had from an air pistol than an annoying creature that I'll need to feed and water for next 15 years.

Weihrauch HW40 or Zoraki HP01. Pneumatic driven (break the barrel to load and cock).

Ron Young at Youngs Air Guns in Dominion Rd sells them, can also deliver.

I have been known to scare a few birds in my time Normally with my driving, sometimes with my drinking but most often with my stone cold stare

Looks like a well engineered piece of kit.

I've got a Umarex Magnum research desert eagle .177. 8 shot semi auto that I purchased for a similar pest problem.

I paid $500 for it, then put a red dot scope on it.

Its accurate as and packs quite a punch.

I no longer have a use for it. Its in mint condition and is a quality bit of kit, certainly not a toy like some others.

Google it. If you like the sound/look of it pm me an offer.
