    Airsoft rifles/pistols needs safe too?

I imported some airsoft stuff to practice my real shooting with, and was surprised that I had to jump through an insane amount of hoops for the importation. Now I'm curious, since the procedures regarding airsoft was so similar to those of a real gun, was just wondering if that means the airsoft rifle needs the same storage requirements?

I keep my real firearms in such a safe place that it's a hassle to take them out, whereas the airsoft stuff I would like to have just lying around the house so I'm encouraged to practice with it often. But let's say that someone where to steal them would that mean my Firearms license would go because they would argue I did something illegal by not keeping a "restricted airrifle" locked up?

*I realize that there are people with airsoft who don't have a license and therefore no safe, but I mean because every imported airrifle counts as a "restricted airrifle" and because of the combination of having a real firearms license (which makes it easier to punish me)
