    Ammo availability and price

I've been out of the game for awhile and have heard that some calibres are hard to come by or very expensive.

I'm looking at buying a rifle but want to know what ammo is pricey/available etc.

Is there a list of pricing/availability by calibre somewhere?

Assuming you're not after a magnum and depending on your circumstances, buy a .308, .243 or .223 based on availability.

This thing you are on right now called the internet, do some googling or call your local shop you"ll find can still get some ammo and go shooting/hunting no problem.

Yip, things gone up though like everything else.

I see Reloaders have just sent a Sale notice out on Berger and Nosler projectiles..not that I buy them anywhooo.. was wondering when that might happen. Hopefully some scalpers get stuck with unwanted boxes..

Gunworks are also "overstocked" so have 20% off some berger, hornady and nosler projectiles, mainly 6mm, .277 and 6.5mm. Also 12% off lapua .284, 6.5x47 and 6mm Creedmoor srp brass.

belmont ammo. nz made ammo - .223 less than $1 per round. 7mm08 and .308 less than $2 per round, even less after selling ya brass. super consistent between batches. its just worth loading up each time they do a run. buy in lots of 250
They use quality projectiles too, .308 is hornady and nosler bt, 7mm08 is sst and sp.
