Gut feeling is that gazebomans account will have been hacked. Other auctions from this user are copied from ebay auctions of the genuine article.
Guy has good feedback, listing has already been pulled down though so maybe his account was hacked? Seems to be a bit of that happening as of late.
I smashed buy now tbh, didnt see this thread until way later. I encourage people to hit buy now on these items that are most likely scams then offer cash and pickup only, if its legit you get a bargain, if its fake (99.9999999999999% likely) then you have wasted the scammers time.
Easiest way is to right click on the images in the auction and "search image with google". Most scammers never have the actual item, so search the internet for images to put in the TradeMe auction.
Google search should return no matches for a genuine auction, or one or more from fake's. You can click on the images returned by google to see where the images came from - most of the time Ebay auctions.
What gets me is why would he get that scope to fire form brass....? If you just need to make sure you safely hit the target then almost any scope will do or a bucket of sand.....
And as a matter of interest- what is a 6 dasher? Is it a calbire or brand I have never heard of? Or slang for something else?
Not surprisingly TradeMe have advised not to complete any auctions from that member, as their account has been compromised.
Confirmed was a fake listing.
Ah, the @bunji special
