Yep it's Friday and I'm thinking about new scopes.
Something for my new Kimber so want to keep the weight down.
Ideally no lower than 3-15
Like the burris hd5 but are there any lighter options

Also needs to be dialable and have zero stop

Swarovski z5 range the Burris are dam heavy for what they are.

Yes I very much like the z5 but they are a long scope and I think do look a bit silly on smaller guns

Anyone had anything to do with meopta scopes?

I've got one, nice and clear couldn't tell you how they handle recoil though as it's on my 22. Passes the Mt Ngongotaha Radio/TV tower optical clarity test ok though.

Might be a bit heavy but when it breaks you can keep getting a replacement no questions asked

How light do you want to be? With swaro you sacrifice a lot to have a light scope I’d just get a vx5 and rest assure it won’t brake day 2 of a 5 day trip and call the extra weight insurance all 50 grams of it
