Another "Rifle" question re - Hardy rifles.

Was up HRE this week & had a fondle of their "Project X" rifles, they seem pretty good value & nicely put together

Anyone using one, set up & thoughts on them ?

    Cheers

I found a second hand one that didn't look as cool as the ones on the hardy website for sale for 4 grand.
What price does a Ram driver call good value?

$6750 , I don't think thats bad value for a semi custom rifle, with integrated rail, carbon stock & barrel , case & a factory fitted suppressor.

    https://www.hardyrifle.com/project-x-stock-rifles

I know that they had issues in the past but by now I'd say most of their made "in house" products would be pretty good, the only Hardy barrel I even had shot very well.

The cardon stocked Sako 90 I'm looking at is around that price with a standard steel barrel & no case or can, While I like Sako's I think they've priced themselves outta the market & their stock levels at NZ HQ is pathetic, who wants to wait months for a factory rifle in the very limited calibers they even make in the new 90 model.

Yeah to be fair when you compare it with Sako I guess....tho I would never call a Sako good value either and I like my Sakos.
I call good value Howa and Bergara...ten years ago I would have put Tikka at the top of the "good value" list but not now.

Is extraction even an issue when they don’t go bang 50% of the time?
