    Any 222's about

I've been eyeing up the Krico 222 Full Stock on TM for a couple of days, but am having trouble pushing the button - I don't really want a full stock and while the Krico's are very nice there are a couple of things about them that don't do it for me.

Does anyone know of any other 222's for sale or about in gunshops etc. I'm not real fussy and an older Rem 700/788, or a Brno/CZ etc etc might fill the bill.

    Thanks

@Tentman that Krico has had the fore stock shortened so it could be threaded, shame.

For all you guys who have pm'd me about the Vixen....
I'll make a couple of calls and see if its still for sale. It belonged to an old fella who hasn't used it for acouple of years and now doesn't want to renew his firearms licence.
Id buy it but I already got one.
I've seen it and reackon its about 7/10. The floorplate and a few other bits need rebluing or ceracoating, and the stock needs a bit of work to bring it back to original (if thats what you wanted)
I haven't fired a shot out of it so can't tell you more. Pretty sure its the early L 461

Yea, different bolt shroud and stock to the earlier model. Still a bargain I would have thought, depending on final dollars

I've got a 788 I could maybe possibly move on. I don't use it much lately.
I do like it tho so I dunno. Not flashy but shoots pretty good

@kidmac42 I think they all do don't they?
If the slush fund was ok I'd see if you would part with it, but that wont be happening anytime soon lol

Well, the three that I have do anyway( different Cal's). As I say, not flashy but certainly very capable. Some seem to think the rear locking lugs arent very good, but for me, the proof is in the pudding.
