I find my .22 cal 16 ft.lb springer is not a patch on the killing power of a .22 subsonic. Rabbits Definitely needs a head shot. They just hopp away with a chest shot. Predator polymag pellets knock them over a bit better but not emphatic kills. A precharge might be a lot better if you can double the ft.lb


The airgun is a specialist weapon for lifestyle blocks and has got me a lot of rabbits where I wouldn't have been able to shoot with a .22RF.

that's why I got into them we have 3 acres here at home but also I have small blocks local I can hunt but only realy safe with an airgun
I take body shots all the time (if I'm not rested) but I'm also shooting closer to 30ftlb and its ok I think the guns shooting at about 27ftlb with 16gn jsb's but I shoot 19gn barrcutta hunters I still prefer head shots though
