I had HRE do one for me.
A lttle off topic, but other than for looks I can' see the logic in the double spiral (diamand) fluting?
kj
Aparantly dury is still out on normal spiral fluting having adverse affects in accuracy due to poor barrel harmonics

I wouldn't do it again. The barrel was inconsistent with the poi between groups. Not sure if it was the result of spiral fluting or not, but I wouldn't risk it again
SSR is doing it too IIRC. I think 7mmSAUM had his 338 EDGE diamond fluted.
SSRNZ I think? do a staggered fluting that looks f in cool and in theory should be very riddged for weight removed.
Diamond fluting = puke
Diamond fluting simply cant offer the same level of rigidity may aswell turn the barrel down

Deja vu here? a barrel turned down to the same weight couldn't possibly be as rigid as a fluted one. be it straight/spiral/diamond/staggered.
I still think it looks cool regardless, straight fluting on a tikka/700 YAWN
Idk maybe this could help, Sorry if it doesn't I dont get to caught up in it but it may be interesting for a few of you.
The Real Benefits of Barrel Fluting
As it spiral fluting , it looks quite nice when done on a heavy thick barrel , as to accuracy , I think if done right it would be just like normal fluting or better .
When Canada did their sniper rifle trials for a 338LM rifle , the most accurate rifle that beat all the others and was close to the insanely accurate requirement was the PGW Timberwolf , and it used a spiral fluted barrel & a large telescoping suppressor .
