Anyone familier to old anchutz single shots

As per title. Have an old girl I would like to get shooting again.
Has a dome shaped bolt and has a semi circular extractor that fits up against the breach.
It slides under the bolt. Seems mine is missing.
Any leads on someone who may have or know where to get one.
My young fella is starting to show and interest and i think an old single is a safe option

I have a complete Anshutz single shot rifle here, same model that you mention

You can have it for free if your lad would like to use it

You can see it in the “ long range anshutz” thread

It’s a very tidy rifle and shoots very accurately

Send me a pm if that suits you

    Well done mate, generous offer.
He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

Yes, lucky man! Those old extractors just fell out if the bolt was removed. The supply of spares dried up many years ago. I have made a good few over the years, usually at a bit of a loss as the rifles weren't worth enough to charge the correct price!

My first ever .22 was a Geco, manufactured in 1927. It had the same extractor system. Rifle was extremely accurate and accounted for several pigs, including one massive boar. The rifle has been passed on to a youngster.

So today we drove to havelock north to have a jump around splash planet and to introduce ourselves to 7mm.
My son was stoked to meet the man in person who has essentially sponsored his bunny hunting career.

So thank you again Andrew for doing this.
And I am glad we made the trek up in person to meet you.
