Maybe old news, but for those interested in an AR style straight pull, Guncity have the Troy SPR on their website.
Played with on of the Gun Supplies prototypes at a Service match in Dorkland earlier this year.
Looks and feels like an AR. Same ergonomics.
The cops are apparently ok with these as you have to break contact and move a hand to cycle the action.
They are fractionally faster than a bolt, in the same way that a Blaser is faster. Not convinced that is sufficient to give these a competitive advantage (think SMLE vs K31 for comparison), but they will no doubt make a lot of the AR fanboys happy.
The initial noises were that they would be kept to service rifle and IPSC 3-gun, but that was wishfull thinking. Guess we will see in 2-3 years time if they survive or get the chop due to being "too scary".

think people are missing the point of the comparing them to a long ranger or a lee enfield, in my mind they are for people needing a mid power cartridge for pest control, or compeditive shooting and people who miss or never got to have an actual ar, but at the end of they I think $4000 is a little bit steep but appreciate the quality of it not really being mass produced and being an oceanic product
I've got about 5-600 rounds through my GBC so far. Running really well. Good accuracy with some loads.
Will be interesting to see 3-way comparison between the GBC / Troy / Warwick.
@omark, do you know if the Troy is leftie friendly ?
The OzzieReviews youtube vid of the Warwick was odd, the charging handle was on the wrong side, unless his mate that lent him the rifle is a leftie.

is the charging handle best on the trigger hand or support hand side? I'm not goingtot buy one, this is just out of interest.
if anyone buys one i have the perfect scope for it. leupold vx3 1-5x20 still in the box
