Anyone using the Vortex 1400 HD Rangefinder?

    Hi all

As per the title just wondering what people’s experiences have been using the Vortex.
I’m looking to stretch my 6.5Creedmoor’s legs as well as my own and look at hunting more open/tops country.
I know it’s on the poverty end of the price spectrum but hoping it’s good enough for what I want 500m max and a good cheap way to dip my toes into this side of things. Thoughts?
    Cheers

Yes I have used the crossfire model (cheapest) and its bloody exceptional for the money. I was ranging deer to 900m. It does it's job very well. Ranged and dialled animals to 570y with success and compared side by side to a more expensive Leupold model which didn't leave me wanting the Leupold. Only reason I recently sold it was because I upgraded to a vortex bino rangefinder model. Can't beat the no questions asked warranty either. Site sponser sells them the cheapest at skippersmate.co.nz

Not used it personally, but since the model was upgraded to the HD lens, our sales in Au & NZ have been very popular. It is by far the biggest seller and never had a return because it did not live up to expectations. If you go to page via this link, check out the 3 reviews we have there.

If ever an issue, we're just a call away.

Hey Mate, I run the Vortex Crossfire HD 1400 and can not fault it! Amazing little rangefinder. Very clear and bright red led display (adjustable brightness settings), ranging out to 900m no worries, angle compensation, will in any lighting conditions , good clear glass, a couple of other good setting options also. 10/10

Mine turned up today, actually looks brill and a lot quicker and easier to use than I’d hoped!
