AR Handguard and barrel not parallel

So after having my Cmmg for a wee while now, it wasn't until the other day i noticed that the barrel and hand guard are not parallel. The barrel comes out at a downwards angle. Im not at home at the moment so can't upload a picture of my own rifle, but it is similar to this one attached. Is this a concern or anything i can do to sort it? Name: IMAG0530.jpg

Is it a free floating hand guard?
Do you have any gizmos that must be aligned with the bore?

If answers are yes and no respectively, don't worry about it.

Yep it is a free float. I was just wondering as it doesn't have a scope on it atm and was going to remount it and noticed it. Will it affect the sighting in?

    Did you assemble it yourself?

Did you have problems zeroing the irons?

I would remove the hand guard to ensure the parts are assembled correctly and look for any manufacturing faults.

If your scope is attached to your upper receiver, than a misaligned hand guard will have no effect.

I do not recommend attaching optics to your hand guard.

HI, no i bought is assembled. I haven't used irons on it. The hand guard looks to be lined up properly with the upper, it looks like the barrel that is on the angle

Herbmeister posted a thread on Sportshooter about barrels not being aligned with the upper.
