    I have had very similar problems as you (light strikes) with my Timney. Are you planning to keep the trigger group in the rifle permanately? If you have a belt sander you could shave a very very slight bit off the tail of the bolt so the firing pin protudes out more and smacks the primer properly. I've often thought the firing pin protrusion in an AR could be slightly better.

    Or alternately you could acquire a stronger hammer spring.
