Thread: AR Single Stage trigger misfiring

I had a AR trigger crisis before a trip over the weekend so made an emergency purchase of a Timney single stage 3 pound trigger. The trigger is fantastic but for the first time ever I had multiple misfires. These are with reloads using AR milspec primers.

Has anyone else had this problem? Do Timney's have lighter than normal hammer strikes? The AR primers are a little harder than normal primers but it should bloody work cos it is an AR after all.

I am having nightmareish flashbacks to the misfiring problems I had with a Beretta shotgun.
