Found the 5rnd mag doesn't like 5rnds. Only feeds if 3rnds are in it WTF??
So after speaking to my tame AR specialist, I removed the spring from the mag and cut 8 complete loops off the spring.
Now it feeds perfectly and can take 7rnds
