Most of these lower range zoom scopes similar to this that are over ~US$500 seem to get relatively good reviews, be it Burris, Vortex, Weaver, Leupold etc...
I have the Vortex PST 1-4x, but have yet to use it an anger, but will do a basic review once i have used it for a few months... it to has good reviews for the price.

I've got one of these (XTRII 1-5X24) here (Tauranga) if any one wants it. lib optics sent me wrong one. 5.56 Gen 3 illuminated reticle. Still in shrink wrap. $1200nz after gst,customs etc. Otherwise will send back to USA.
