    Arca Shooting Rest

    Anyone know of any think like these in nz?

    Those look bloody sharp! I bought a very cheap version (much heavier) to get a feel for how useful it would be. Had it for a year and I've found it pretty useful, slower than a bipod but ideal for getting up above long grass/scrub. So much more versatile, I'm generally carrying a tripod for camera or spotter so it's not like a massive extra.

    Thats what i was thinking man and saves having to put arca rail on each stock

    What did you get?

    I've a Spartan to arca adaptor plate and I would expect you can get a pic one too. Aziak tripod

    If you run a pic rail on your rifle then look up 'manbily ' quick release plate. Very easy way to switch to arca when needed.

    Shooting off saddles leaves a lot to be desired when compared to clipping on properly.
