Thread: Athlon Talos scope 6-24x50 SFP?

Any good or really bad?
I'm looking at this one...

I tried a Vector 6-24 but it was not well made at all. Yeah, made in China and no QC at all.
Don't want to spend the world.
Scope is for my CZ455 Varmint (what a lovely thing) that will do double duty for critter busting and my Daughter/Grandkids to use at indoor benchrest (no...they are not being allowed to touch my Sightron Slll 45x45).
So I would like 'something' in that top end of 6-24 (5-25 maybe).
Don't know squat about the Athlon scopes, so hoping for some guidance.
Or...I'd look at 2nd hand if you have 'something' that may suit? Prefer SFP over FPP.

I have the Athlon Argos HMR 2-12x42 on my 10/22.
Good scope. Was slightly higher spec, around $800 when 55six was selling them.

I have the 4 x 16 Talos ( one up from bottom model ? ) on my 308, love it. I don't know whether I got lucky but really clear, good turret clicks . For the money I was well happy.
