Thanks Cambo. Been looking at these on an off. You have convinced me to give on a go. I find the Harris too heavy for hunting especially with a suppressor fitted.

For $80 I'd buy one, I like the quick release.

I bought a few attachment rail things from Atlas. The package included a big sticker warning about Chinese knock offs.
I almost felt guilty about not paying them $400 for one of thier bi pods...yeah, right.

bought a blank piccatiny rail from guncity, that way I can make the rails as short/long as I need and ill have enough for probably 5 or 6 bipods.

Are they deep enough to attach the bipod? I tried a scope mount base but it was too thin.

A question to those that have a copy.
Do they tilt? I know they can pan but will it tilt allowing you to level the rifle without having to fart around with the legs to much?

So far I have given it a bit of a workout on my AR and it's worked flawlessly. Impressed how quick it can be set up and used. The weight on the rifle fore-end is not really that noticeable either.
I have inletted a small rail onto my WMR so I can fit the bipod on it.

I was due to go on a hunt Waitangi weekend and give it another go on both my AR and WMR, but the station has closed off all access due to extreme fire risk.

Just checked mine. No it doesn't tilt. Setting the legs up is pretty easy and quick though.

I have just been playing with my bipod and found out it does tilt!!
The centre lock nut, when loosened allows the bipod to swivel and tilt.

ahhhhh shit i just ordered one even after buying some cases and powder with the money set aside for this haha this game keeps a man poor ..... but happy
