now for those interested i'm going to give a very simple version of how NV works:
digital nv is basically a camera at the objective end, some electronics and a tv screen at the ocular end.
"tube nv" is completely different. imagine a normal scope but...behind the objective end is a plate that is charged up to a high negative voltage. at he ocular end a plate thats charged to a positive voltage then more lenses etc.
a small amount of light enters and makes electrons want to leave the front plate, they fly down to the ocular plate as its positively charged/ this plate then releases light towards the eye.
however there is a gain between light input to light output and very basically this is how it works.
