Also is E endorsement easier to obtain and upkeep as opposed to the hoops and strings of mandatory club event attendance with B as well as only being able to use pistols are approved locations. I've seen alot of debate about people putting hunting on their MSSA reasons, but if I get accepted for competition use and someone for some reason calls the police about my "black rifle" in the bush, will I be hung out to dry?
    Auckland Pistol Club.
    Auckland Pistol Club

Can only shoot Wednesday afternoon, all day Saturday, Sunday. Pistols only. It gets busy with various sections shooting which block book out certain ranges. Pistol carbine is allowed but only certain makes & models, no 9mm AR. Limited options for joining up now, there's only 2 x intakes a year for new members. Keeping 12 shoots a year is piss easy, if you shoot in any comps there's a couple of days a year straight up.

E cat - no restrictions on use attatched to your license. Just remember cops get nervous seeing a tooled up AR out and about.

There's Waiuku Pistol Club, range open Wed-> Sunday 10am - 3pm, for pistol, rifle range, shotgun. Expensive to join.

Numerous rumours of them having consent issues in the future.

If you're super keen to do a tactical course, travel to the US. I did a 2 day shoot in Florida in 2013 and it was money well spent - huge fun factor
